To head over now, get directions from our store page. You need to be 21 or older to buy.
Parking and the final approach
We are at 90 Pershing Dr, Derby, CT 06418, and parking is free and on site.
If your trip puts you on Route 8, Pershing Drive is exit 13A, signed for Pershing Drive and Ansonia. It was exit 16 before mileage based renumbering. Exit 13A is a northbound exit and southbound entrance, so you take it heading north, and you can get back on heading south from the same interchange. The ramp is about 0.25 km from 90 Pershing Drive. Our Route 8 corridor page covers the towns along that approach.

Per CTvisit, Farm River State Park on Mansfield Grove Road is where the Farm River ends a 16.5-mile run at Long Island Sound. The town beach on Cosey Beach Avenue is a sandy beach on Long Island Sound with a picnic area and a pavilion, as CTvisit describes it.
Order ahead or choose at the Bud Bar
We keep online ordering open 24/7. Before you leave, you can browse the aisles of our online shop or compare flower on our live menu.
If you would rather choose in person, ask a budtender. The Bud Bar is toward the back of the showroom and needs no appointment, and our guide to a first Bud Bar visit walks through what happens there. The Hartford Business Journal reported in March 2025 that our store opened the state's first bud bar, where customers can examine and smell products.
We take cash and debit cards only, no credit cards, and there is an on-site ATM. Current promotions are on our deals page.
Questions before you drive over
Can I get delivery to my address?
No. East Haven is not one of the 14 towns our Derby delivery list covers, so plan on pickup. Checkout on the live menu shows whether delivery reaches a given address, and how our delivery works explains the rest.
Is a Hi! People store opening closer to home?
Yes. Our store at 1041 State St is coming soon, with the same Bud Bar experience we run now. Add your name to the opening-news list and we will tell you when the doors open. All of our store locations are listed in one place.
Can I call before I drive over?
Yes. Call us at 860-420-BUDS (2837). When you are ready, place your order on the live menu so it is waiting when you pull in.
