What we are planning at this address
The store will have the same Bud Bar experience as Derby. The company behind it is the same one, too: we were built by local Connecticut people with local Connecticut investors. You can see all of our Connecticut locations in one place, or read about who we are.
Where the store sits, from East Rock to the train station
State Street Station is at 259 State Street and serves the Hartford Line, which lists it on its station page. The store is in the East Rock area, north of the station on the same street.
How adults 21 and older in the city can shop Hi! People today
Both of our stores are listed by DCP as cannabis retailers serving adults 21 and older.
Our Derby store is at 90 Pershing Dr, just off Route 8, where Pershing Drive is northbound Exit 13A. Online ordering is open 24/7, so you can put together an order on the live menu whenever it suits you and choose pickup at the counter.
If you would rather stay home, the same live menu takes scheduled delivery orders, and our delivery page lists the city among the 14 towns served from that store. At checkout, the menu shows the order minimum, the fee and the delivery slot for your address, and the rest is on our delivery page. Only the adult who placed the order, 21 or older with matching ID, can accept it.
The store takes cash and debit cards, and credit cards cannot be used. There is an on-site ATM. Current offers are listed on our deals page rather than here, and you can start from the shop if you like to browse by product type.
The Bud Bar experience planned for New Haven
Our Bud Bar lets you view and smell cannabis strains before you buy. In Derby, it is a dedicated consultation area where you sit down one on one with a budtender, and the Hartford Business Journal reported on March 27, 2025 that the store had opened the state's first bud bar. Hosts with iPads also help you browse the menu and order there.
Get the opening news first
We will share the opening date once it is set. Until then, the opening news section at the bottom of this page shows how to follow along.
Questions shoppers ask about the New Haven store
Can I get delivery in the city before the store opens?
Yes, we deliver to ZIP codes 06510, 06511, 06513, 06515 and 06519 through scheduled orders, and checkout confirms whether your address qualifies.
How do I reach you with questions?
Call us at 860-420-BUDS (2837), the same number for both stores, which are open 7 days a week. More answers are on our FAQ page.
