Made in Oxford, Connecticut
Our seltzer is made in Oxford, Connecticut. LIFTD, another THC drink brand on both of our live menus as of October 7, 2026, is made at the same Oxford canning operation.
Choosing a drink on the live menu
- Pick your store. Derby and Hartford each run their own live menu, so if the flavor you want is missing at one store, check the other.
- Pick a flavor. Derby's live menu lists our seltzer in Blueberry Lemon, Grapefruit Blood Orange and Dragon Fruit Lime, in singles and four-packs, and Hartford's lists Blueberry Lemon and Grapefruit Blood Orange.
- Look at other drinks. LIFTD sodas come in Blue Rizz, Grape, Just Orange and Punch. To compare LIFTD and other THC drinks, browse our THC drinks aisle or see the brands we carry.
- Ask a person. If you are not sure which drink to try, call us at 860-420-BUDS (2837) before you order.
How state law applies to a THC seltzer
Because our seltzer is a hemp-infused THC drink, the state's rules for THC-infused beverages cover it. Connecticut's adult-use cannabis rules apply to adults 21 and older, and these three decide who may sell a THC drink and how much THC it may hold:
- Who may sell it. After July 1, 2024, THC-infused beverages may be sold only by licensed cannabis retailers and by package stores that hold a waiver, as the Department of Consumer Protection explains in its article on who can sell THC-infused beverages. We hold two Connecticut adult-use cannabis retailer licenses, one for Derby and one for Hartford. When the line launched in October 2025, the Hartford Business Journal reported it was sold at package stores in the state as well as at Hi! People.
- How much THC a can may hold. Starting October 1, 2026, an infused beverage sold by a retailer may contain up to ten milligrams of THC per container, according to the department's notice on the 2026 legislative updates.
- The serving standard. Chapter 420h of the Connecticut General Statutes directs that a standardized serving of an edible cannabis product or a beverage contain not more than five milligrams of THC.

Timing your first can
NIDA, a federal research institute, lists drinks among the foods cannabis can be mixed or added to and puts them in the same group as edibles.
Our article on how long edibles take to kick in covers timing, and the comparison of THC drinks and edibles explains where the two formats differ. If you would rather eat than sip, the edibles aisle runs on the same live menus.
