Fitting the drive around trails and Tuesday concerts
On its hiking page, the town lists Peter's Rock Park on Middletown Avenue as its highest point at 373 feet, with about 220 acres and roughly five miles of trails. In summer the Green hosts the free Music Under the Stars concerts on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, as the town's festivals and events page lists. If you are fitting a stop at our store around a morning on the trails or a Tuesday concert, plan for the round trip.
The drive from home to Pershing Drive, leg by leg
- Before you leave. If you already know what you want, online ordering is open 24/7, so you can build your order on our online shop and pick it up at the counter. If you would rather choose in person, skip this step and start at the Bud Bar when you arrive.
- On the road. The route uses Route 22, Route 15 and Route 34. Our time estimate assumes no traffic, so give yourself extra room at rush hour.
Parking and the first few minutes inside
We have free on-site parking at our store on Pershing Drive.
Inside, MKDA, the firm that designed the store, describes bright white shiplap, exposed brick and emerald green checkout tiles. You will also find hosts with iPads who help you browse the menu and order, plus a merchandise wall with mugs, glassware, tote bags and apparel.
What the Bud Bar changes about your first visit
Toward the back of the showroom is our Bud Bar, and it needs no appointment. It is where you can view and smell cannabis strains before purchasing, and where you sit down one on one with a budtender. It was Connecticut's first bud bar, as the Hartford Business Journal reported in March 2025.
So if this is your first trip over, you do not need to settle on a strain at home before you get in the car.
Paying and what delivery means for your address
We take cash and debit cards only, and the store has an on-site ATM if you arrive short on cash.
Your town is not one of the 14 our delivery page lists for this store, so we do not promise delivery to an address here. This store's live menu takes scheduled delivery orders, and checkout shows what is available for your address, including any minimum and fee. If delivery does show up for you, only the adult who placed the order, 21 or older with matching ID, can accept it. Delivery questions go to how our delivery works, and current promotions are on our deals page.
A closer store is planned on State Street in New Haven
Our planned store at 1041 State St is about 6.2 miles by road from the center of town. It is coming soon, and we plan the same Bud Bar experience there. To hear when the doors open, sign up for opening news.
Until then, our Pershing Drive store is the one to plan around, and all of our store locations are listed in one place. We cover the same trip for shoppers coming from Hamden and shoppers coming from West Haven.
