Before or after a stop at a Cheney landmark
The Cheney Homestead at 106 Hartford Rd. is the birthplace of the brothers who founded the town's silk industry. Cheney Hall, at 177 on the same road, is home to the Little Theatre of Manchester, and the hall completed an award-winning restoration in 1991.
The Manchester Historical Society at 175 Pine St. occupies a c. 1895 former Cheney Brothers machine shop.
